Problem of the Week!

Research Question- For students starting a 4-year technical degree, half of what they learn in their year of study will be outdated by their third year of study.

When I was thinking about this fact I was surprised of what researchers said. My research states that this is true. This is true because there are a lot of inventions that inventors are working on that will be ready in a year. Since scientist work on things before hand that means every year something new comes out. If something new comes out every year that means by the time you go into your third year of college every thing will be new. By that time they will probably have a computer on your cell phone.

Also, I found about a program that is called Tech Prep that Marion Technical College sponsors and they offer it to high schools. Tech Prep is an exciting approach to education that prepares students for the technology occupations of the future. The primary goal of College Tech Prep is to get high school students for, into, and through a 2-year associate degree programs that give them higher-level technical skills and knowledge. I think this program is great because it teaches kids to know how to work technology when they get into college and they will need to know the basics when technology gets more difficult. This is my research and lets look forward to the future.

Predicted Inventions-  Vehicles will be equipped with devices that will automatically apply the brakes when you get too close to an object.  Small semi permanent magnetic tattoos will identify children if they are lost.  Improvement in DNA research will identify and cure almost all diseases.  Electric cars will be the standard that can run all week on a single charge. Just Think If They Are Working On All These Things Now, Who Knows What Will Be Invented In 2013!!!!!!!!
