Eligibility Desirable: A tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g. policing, security).

Minimum experience required: Experience in fields of law enforcement and/or intelligence, or similar.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a security assessment, maintain an ongoing security clearance and satisfy AUSTRAC’s pre-engagement checks. To be eligible for assessment, applicants must be an Australian citizen.

The Senior Intelligence Analyst under limited direction is responsible for:  conducting data extraction, collation and analysis of AUSTRAC information and other data sources in the preparation of high-quality intelligence  making recommendations and contributing towards the development of analytical methodologies for effective analysis of AUSTRAC information  liaising with AUSTRAC staff, partner agencies, government and other stakeholders  providing coaching and mentoring to other staff as required  providing input to multi-agency task forces, project work and supporting other commitments  completing the administration requirements of the role  actively contributing to the strategic direction of the AUSTRAC Intelligence section  Other relevant duties as directed.
