SUBJECT: Ralph Vitello/ APSCUF Scholarship

The Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculty (APSCUF) at East Stroudsburg University has contributed a scholarship in the name of Ralph Vitello, a former professor at ESU. They will award four scholarships: two for $945.00 and two for $612.50 for spring/summer 2017 tuition. Recipients of the scholarship will be selected on the basis of academic record, campus activities, community service, career goals, financial need, and letters of recommendation. All undergraduate matriculated students who meet the qualifications outlined below may apply.

The application closing date is March 3, 2017. Please feel free to copy the form and distribute to qualified students. Additional forms may be obtained on the web at www.esu.edu/studyabroad or from the Office of International Programs, located in Stroud Hall 103.

RALPH VITELLO/APSCUF SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

The Ralph Vitello Scholarship Committee at East Stroudsburg University will grant up to two scholarships to students returning to campus Fall 2017. Recipients of the scholarship will be selected on the basis of academic record, campus activities, community service, career goals, financial need, and letters of recommendation. All undergraduate matriculated students who meet the qualifications outlined below may apply.

1. A minimum of 3.0 Quality Point Average. 2. Completion of at least 12 credit hours of coursework at ESU and no more than 90 credit hours at the time of application. 3. Returning to ESU for at least one semester of full-time study 4. Previous recipients of this scholarship are ineligible.

Students wishing to complete the application online must print a hardcopy to submit to the Office of International Programs. All applicants must:

1. Return completed application to the Office of International Programs in Stroud Hall 103. 2. Attach a minimum of two completed recommendations, one of which must be from an ESU teaching faculty member who is familiar with your work. 3. Assure that the application is complete and includes two letters of recommendation. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

The Office of International Programs must receive all application documents and letters of recommendation on or before March 3, 2017. Finalists may be interviewed at a later date. (Please do not send your application, letters of recommendation, or supporting documents to committee members).
