ETC Sublimation Supplies (Part of Agentround Group Limited) A “Total Solutions Company” Crystal UV Curing

Operation Steps; From Film to Crystal

1. Print out the image onto the special films. There are usually two kinds of films involved. A Polished Crystal Jet Film and a Non-Polished Crystal Jet Film. 2. Print the image on the films smooth side. The frosted side is the back with the thin frosted film. Do not print on this side. When you print, you do not need to MIRROR the image on the Software. 3. Trim around the imaged film with a small extra edge. 4. Put the film onto the crystal board, with the printed side facing towards you. Apply a little amount of glue in an X shape over the image. 5. Put the imaged film onto the crystal, with great care. Make sure you match the picture and the crystal very well. Use a rubber edge to spread outwards from the centre of the image to remove any bubbles. 6. Place a clear piece of plastic film onto the glass of the machine to avoid glue sticking to the glass. 7. Place the crystal in the UV Machine. 8. Switch on the machine. 9. Turn on the main UV light. 10.Set the time for 20 seconds. 11.Close the upper cover of the machine. 12.Now turn off the main UV button. 13.Take out the crystal and see if some glue has come to the edge of the crystal. If not then put it back in the machine for another 20 seconds. 14.Now take out the crystal and use a sharp knife to trim away the extra film. 15.When you have a smooth trimmed edge then put the crystal back in the UV machine for another 2 minutes for final solidification. 16.Remove the crystal from the machine and carefully remove the crystal film. 17.Now you have a beautiful crystal product for your customer.

From Crystal to Crystal

1. Some crystals come with a base. The following instructions explain how to join these together. 2. Put a little UV Glue on the base position. Join the two parts together. 3. Put the crystal on the bottom glass of the UV machine. Press the Pro-UV button. Set the timer for 1 minute solidification process. 4. After the set time remove the crystal, trim and smooth the joint. You now have a finished crystal.
