Part II: Experience Abroad Project Essay
Sharing your experience abroad with other Aggies upon your return is the best way to promote study abroad. OIP Travel Grant recipients are required to implement a minimum of two (2) programs/presentations about their study abroad experiences. One will take place on campus, and one will take place in their community.

In a two-page double spaced essay, please describe how you expect the content, theme and location of your study abroad experience to contribute to the achievements of your academic, career and personal goals. Also, please describe how you plan to promote study abroad amongst your peers at A&T and in your community.
Note: Students applying for the Gilman Scholarship cannot use their Follow-On Project for this essay.
I agree that I will implement my Experience Abroad Project the semester following my study abroad experience. I will implement my Experience Abroad Project twice: once at A&T, and once in my community. If I cancel my study abroad plans, I will return the scholarship money to the university. If I do not return the funds, I understand that the amount I received will be billed to my student account. I acknowledge that all of my statements on this application are complete and accurate to the best of my knowledge.

OIP Travel Grant Stipulations 1. This scholarship is for degree-seeking students at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. 2. Graduating seniors are not eligible for this scholarship if travel commences after graduation. 3. This scholarship is competitive and based on availability of funds.
OIP Travel Grant Application Process 1. Candidates will submit applications to the Office of International Programs in person or electronically by the deadline. 2. The Office of International Programs Travel Grant Committee will review all applications. 3. Candidates will be notified about their award status via e-mail. 4. The award will be applied directly to the recipient’s A&T account.
