J Allen Axson Montessori School Supply List- Mrs. Allison Bear (Room 304 PrePrimary)

Dear Parents:

Our first day back to school is Monday August 15th and orientation for students will be on Friday August 12th from 10:00am-12:00pm. Below is a list of school supplies that your child will need for the new school year. All supplies that are sent in will be placed in a classroom collection and distributed as needed. Therefore, it is not necessary to put your child’s name on any of the supplies. This will help to develop the feeling of the classroom community, an attitude of caring, responsibility and respect for others, which are some of the Montessori goals that our class will focus on this year. Please put your child’s name ONLY on the items with an ** next to them. Please try to bring supplies on the day of orientation to help the first day flow smoother. Thank you very much for all your help and I look forward to a great year! Ms. Allison All Students:  1 bottle of juice  1 package of napkins  1 package of Crayola crayons  2 boxes of crackers/pretzels/rice cakes/healthy non-perishable snack (please NO nut products)  Elmer’s glue sticks (4)  2 big pink erasers  2 packages of the refill Wet Wipes/Baby Wipes (we use these each day before lunch and after recess)  Sandwich size Ziplocs  Plastic pencil box ** (try to get the smaller one since the children will have to keep this at their workspace or cubby)  2 rolls of paper towels  1 clean set of clothes in a Ziploc bag with your child’s name on it ** (for accidents/emergencies)  Towel with your child’s name on it (to be used at quiet time)—No Blankets please

Kindergarten Students: Pre-K Students: Gallon Ziplocs Plastic cups (1 package of 5oz. bathroom size) 1½ inch Clear View 3 ring Binder** 1 package of copy paper (white $5.00 cash for your child’s Primary or colored bright/pastel) Journal Book ** 1 box of Kleenex ---Ms. Allison will purchase for all K’s 1 package of quart sized ziplocs

Miscellaneous Supplies that would be greatly appreciated if you are able to donate: Pony beads (any color for necklace making), clothespins, washable markers, paper plates or bowls (large and small), wild bird seed, Swiffer Dusters, and Clorox wipes.
