His previous assignment includes Principal, Regional Vocational Training Institute for Women, Meghalaya, India, Assistant Director of Training, Directorate General of Training, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, Consultant (Computer Science), National Institute of Rural Development, NE Regional Centre, Guwahati, Assam (Under the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India) [2003-2006] and Programmer, World Bank Project at Nowgong Polytechnic (A Government Polytechnic under the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam), Nagaon, Assam, India[1995-2003]. He is an International Adjunct Faculty and Thesis reviewers for Ballsbridge University, Roseau, Dominica. His area of interest includes e-Governance, Bigdata Analytics, Data Mining, NoSQL Database and Vocational Education & Training. He has authored 2 books on Cloud Computing (Publisher- LAP Lambert, Germany, Co-author for 5 text books on (4 Fundamentals of Computer Science, 1 Free and Open Source Software).
