…………………………….on a regular / Monthly / occasional basis Please fill this in it may well help with a successful application Remembering that each and every adult within Scouting is a volunteer it may be that we are not always able to accept every application to the group.

I, as Group Scout Leader, have an undertaking to make sure that each and every adult volunteering within in my Troop feels both comfortable and able to deal with every situation that they face, and indeed that every young person within the group is safe and able to participate.

It may be that some of our volunteers have the appropriate training or qualifications and can provide the necessary support for specific conditions, physical, medical or otherwise, but this can in no way be guaranteed.

This section of the application form therefore gives you the opportunity to mention any specific needs or disability that your child may have. If there are any other delicate matters that you feel we should be aware of please note those below also or contact me by email......

I have read and understood the entry policy for the Group and enclose my child’s completed application form.

I have no objection to filling out a CRB form, to family personnel information being kept electronically on a database, or to my child being photographed on or for Scout activities and occasional inclusion on social media sites.
