Introduction: Ecological cycles allow matter to be passed from one organism to another and also from one ecosystem to another. You may have learned about the water cycle in a previous science class. In this activity you will look at both pictures and websites to learn about ecological cycles: the water, carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus cycles.
Directions: 1. Log on to your computer and go to the following website….. earthandbiorock.weebly.com 2. Scan your mouse over Biology A 3. Scan your mouse over Ecology 4. Click on Cycles Activity 5. The buttons are linked to each of the websites that you will need.
Water Cycle Directions: Make sure this website is open on your computer: http://dnr.wi.gov/org/caer/ce/eek/earth/groundwater/watercycle.htm
Click on the words in the image to read about different parts of the water cycle. Hint: Don’t forget to look at the pictures along with reading the words.
