Position Title Quality, Change and Configuration Manager – SG&I

Location Melbourne / Sydney / Brisbane

Responsible for The primary function of this role is to align the organization’s processes and IT standards. The role is to implement and maintain the quality of the change, release and configuration management processes following the ITIL framework. It is also responsible for the ongoing operation and management of our process portfolio guaranteeing the quality of the service provided and constant improvements.

Reports To SG&I Project Manager / SG&I Professional Services Director

Main Activities  Map, redesign and implement the change, release and configuration management processes following the ITIL framework. Create policies, procedures and best practices to support these processes.  Create the processes workflow including templates for deliverables, acceptance and non- conformities.  Manage the process portfolio and guarantee the proper execution and ongoing improvements.  Provide a single point of contact responsible for coordinating all change functions.  Plan and oversee the successful deployment of new and changed application software into the different environments.  Ensure all releases are controlled and approved by the appropriate personnel.  Communicate release schedules to the relevant stakeholders.  Ensure all items being deployed or changed are secure and traceable.  Define and track release milestones.  Identifying multiple courses of action with regards to risk, issues and dependencies  Produce regular management reports of changes status.  Ensure the high quality of the releases delivered.  Develop the activities related to the role above described to our customers as required.

Key Skills &  Qualifications in Business or Information Technology Experience  Successful track record in implementation of ITIL processes, in particular, change, configuration and release management  Demonstrable experience in problem solving  Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to all levels of the organization; write policies & procedures and design templates  Strong analytical, procedural skills  Consultancy experience with strong customer facing  People orientated with positive interpersonal skills  Performance driven team player  Strong work ethic to support on-time project delivery  ITIL Practitioner certified  Working knowledge of the Windows environment
