All our KS2 pupils are very busy preparing for their annual show. This year’s show is PIRATES OF THE CURRY BEAN on Wednesday 28th March 2012 and Thursday 29th March 2012.

Details as follows: Title: PIRATES OF THE CURRY BEAN Cast: All Key Stage 2 pupils Venue: School Assembly Hall Doors Open: 6.30pm Sharp – Both Nights Entrance: Via Side Assembly Hall Door

Curtain Up 1: Wednesday 28th March 2012 – 6.30pm – 9.00pm (Audience from: (Mrs McIvor, Ms Grant & Mr O’Donnell) Please attend on your designated night. Curtain Up 2: Thursday 29th March 2012 – 6.30pm – 9.00pm (Audience from (Ms Forbes, Mrs Mitchell and Mr Herron) Please attend on your designated night. Please be seated NO LATER than 6.15pm. Show begins at 6.30pm sharp. We’re all looking forward to a memorable night. Tickets will be available soon. Pleas e complete order form Reply Slip to place your order, and return to class teacher a.s.a.p. SCHOOL NETBALL TEAM – Congratulations to the girls who had a fantastic 5-0 victory over Roe Valley Integrated Primary on Tuesday. Well done girls, you played so well.

SCHOOL SOCCER TEAM – Good Shepherd Primary & Nursery School 4-0 Chapel Road PS The School Soccer Team beat Chapel Road PS in a League game on Thursday at Lisnagelvin pitches. The team played very well and showed great improvement. The goals were scored by Aaron Crilly (2) Dara Gill and Ciaran McBride. Man of the Match: Barry Elliott

GAELIC TEAM – The school took part in a Gaelic Blitz on Friday 9th March 2012 at Templemore Sports Complex. We entered two teams to play in the latest Derry City Schools’ Fun Blitz. The aim of the blitz is to promote Gaelic football within the city. The children enjoyed the games and are developing as players.

OUT AND ABOUT THIS WEEK:

Dr Cosgrove’s Yr4 class continue the Faughan Valley project this week, they will travel to Claudy Country Park on Wednesday 14th March 2012

REMINDER - All After School Clubs finish for Term 2 this week on Thursday 15th March 2012 . After School Clubs begin again on week beginning Monday 23rd April 2012. Timetable and details will be issued after the Easter Holidays. I hope you enjoyed your activities boys and girls.
