Rehearsal Schedule 4th June – 23rd July 2014 PLEASE READ as not everyone is needed for each rehearsal! *Week 1 June 4th* 6.30 pm Costume call for Astrid, Michael, Nathan, Callum 7-9pm Everyone. Emma to hand out scripts/ song lines. Principals need to bring £25 deposit cheque payable to FMTC with your name on reverse (this will not be cashed unless script is lost or damaged). Crows/Trees/Principals please bring £10 cheque payable to FMTC with your name on the reverse for Vocal Score (this will not be cashed unless script lost or damaged) Cast to bring Easter Songwords and pencil to write down which scenes they are in. Start learning the main chorus songs - Somewhere over the Rainbow, Merry Old Land of Oz, Munchkin medley ready for our performance on July 13th. AFTER THIS WEEK YOU WILL KNOW WHICH SONGS YOU ARE IN AND YOU CAN FOLLOW THE SCHEDULE BELOW *Week 2 June 11th in Assembly Rooms* 6.30pm Photoshoot for Dorothy, Lion, Scarecrow, Tinman. Change in the assembly rooms 7 -9pm MUNCHKINLAND Just the munchkins, Glinda and her fairy-girls. Plan to set the medley so songwords need to be learnt. *Week 3 June 18th in Assembly Rooms* 6.30pm Michael and Nathan "If I Only Had a...." with Kerry/Dora 7-9pm Emma - Principal script read through for Dorothy, Glinda, Witch, Scarecrow, Lion, Tinman, Uncle Henry, Oz 7-9pm Kerry/Dora - Just the TREES/CROWS to learn their songs and learn OPTIMISTIC VOICES/ YOU'RE OUT OF THE WOODS in Act 1 and 2 and add Principals when not needed in script read through. *Week 4 June 25th in Assembly Rooms* 7-8.30pm EVERYONE for MERRY OLD LAND OF OZ (don't need Witch) Recap the song then set the dance 8.30 - 9pm "IF I ONLY HAD A BRAIN" with Scarecrow and Crows *Week 5 July 2nd in Assembly Rooms* 6.30pm Anna and Astrid for "Jitterbug" with Kerry/Dora 7-8.30pm JITTERBUG - I only need the jitterbug dancers, Dorothy/Lion/Scarecrow/Tinman/Witch Learn the song then set the dance 8.30 - 9pm "IF I ONLY HAD A HEART" with Tinman and Apple Trees *Week 6 July 9th in Assembly Rooms* 6.30pm Eloise /Hope/Anna for Poppy Scene Song with Kerry/Dora 7-8pm EVERYONE for Rehearsal for our performance at the World Record Attempt plus costume call? 8-9pm POPPIES and SNOWMEN SUNDAY JULY 13th = 8.45am - 12noon Wizard of Oz World Record Cheese and Grain *Week 7 July 16th in Assembly Rooms* 7-8pm Lion with FOREST CREATURES for "IF I ONLY HAD THE NERVE".." and "KING OF THE FOREST" 8-9pm WINKIES - "Ding Dong" and "Yo-He-Ho" *Week 8 July 23rd in Assembly Rooms* 7-9pm EVERYONE Sing and Speak through the Show NO SCRIPTS or SONGWORDS – then we will be ready for Workshop Week!!!
