ART/PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW

The annual 2015 Bloomfield Apple Festival Art-Photography Show will be held Friday, October 2 – Saturday, October 3, 2015 in the community room of the Bloomfield Library, 125 S Franklin Street, Bloomfield, IN. This show is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Entries may be brought in on Thursday, October 1, 2:30 – 8:00PM Please include two entry labels with each item. Judging will be on Friday, October 2. Viewing hours will be: Friday, October 2, 2:30 – 6:00PM and on Saturday, October 3, 9:00AM - 3:00PM

ART

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THERE HAVE BEEN CHANGES MADE TO THIS DIVISION. There will now be two categories: 2D and 3D.

. 2D: Painting, Drawing and Print making (maximum size of 18” x 24”)

. 3D: Anything in the round (maximum size of 18” x 24” x 18”). This category can include ceramics, sculpture, wire sculpture, jewelry, word working, and etc.

Student Entries: Grades K – 5th will be in a division by themselves. Student 2D entries must be individually mounted. No frames are allowed on the 2D entries. There will be a $ .50 fee per each entry.

Adult Entries: Middle and high school students (6th grade and up) will also be in this category. Adult 2D entries must be wired and ready to hang on peg board. There will be a $1.00 fee for each middle and high school entry and a $2.00 fee for each adult entry.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Photos must be 8” x 10”, matted not to exceed 11” x 14”. No Frames. Photos must not have been entered in previous Apple Festival shows. Only one entry per category. Adults and students may enter in the same categories.

Entry Fee is $1.00 per work for students and $2.00 per work for adults. Please keep subject matter suitable for family viewing.
