What is the Color Blast 5K? …A 5K run/walk color celebration to recognize the positive impact individuals with special needs have on our lives, to acknowledge their abilities, and help spread awareness from families to friends to individuals!

Sponsorship: We want to give you this opportunity to be a part of a huge fundraising event, which is a fun, family event in Owensboro to help spread “ability” awareness and honor those with special needs in our community! Five local non-profit organizations in our community join forces to host the Color Blast 5K as an annual MUST-DO activity in Owensboro! How can you benefit by being a SPONSOR? The first year we had 4,023 participants and were the 4th largest event in Owensboro! Last year we had over 3,000 and the weather was amazing! This year, due to the feedback and interest, we have had already and the dedication of the host to making this a fresh and fun event, we predict to have around 4,500 participants! Look at the online numbers from last year: 1865 people registered online. 1864 from the US, 1 from Canada, 1679 registered from Kentucky, 130 from Indiana and people registered for the 2014 Color Blast 5k from 14 different states! Your sponsorship directly supports; Puzzle Pieces, Wendell Foster, Dream Riders of Kentucky, Team Karlie, and Green River Area Down Syndrome Association who collaborate together to host this annual event in honor of individuals who have unique qualities and abilities.

Color Blasting Zone Sponsor: ($500)  Large Banner Displayed high for runners to see as they enter the blasting zone areas. This banner will be for your logo only (each color). We can collaborate with the sponsors to decide how you would like the banner to look and/or what goes on the banner.  We will have 3 blasting zones along the course, representing 2 hosting organizations at each zone You can sponsor any zone of your choice.  Opportunity for you: Have your employee’s volunteers @ the blasting zone in your logo shirts, etc.
