METHOD OF OBTAINING DATA In May of 2019, Career & Life Planning at New England College emailed a survey to the 132 individuals we had on record as representing the total number of the College’s four-year residential baccalaureate graduates for 2018. A second mailing to those graduates who failed to respond was sent in early June of 2019. Subsequently, attempts to reach the graduates through social media (Facebook and LinkedIn) were made. A total of 30, or 23% of the Class of 2018, returned surveys. Further use of social media, plus information from New England College faculty, was used to find information on the rest of the class. We now have information on the post-graduate occupations of 68 graduates, or 52%, of the Class of 2018. While this data should be interpreted with some caution, it does indicate that our students are, for the most part, successfully entering the work force and engaging in meaningful work. Most are happy with what they are accomplishing and look forward to their future.
