President’s Message Jai Jinendra,

Let me take this opportunity to congratulate you all for the successful celebrations of the 25th anniversary of our Jinalaya, the first of its kind in Northern America. Everyone worked hard and diligently for the stellar performance during each and every program. I saw excitement and enthusiasm in every one of us. It was heartwarming to hear from eight to ten year old children about how much they enjoyed the celebrations. During these times, we have seen our community unite and work together in harmony. Our community’s team work reached a peak. We would not have been able to execute any of this without everyone’s participation and great dedication. Our current and future generations will remember and cherish this event forever. I would like to thank all of our dignitaries who travelled long and far to help up make this anniversary special and memorable. Their attendance and blessings truly benefitted us all. A special thanks goes to the great Vidhikar Shri Narendrabhai Nandu and his team for their help to perform the 45 Aagam pujan and pujan. I would also like to extend special thanks to Pujya Shree Aagamchandra Sagar Maharaj Saheb and Shri Hiteshbhai Shah for their guidance and hard work to obtain the 45 hand written Aagams and Kalpasutra, which were specially prepared for our center. Our JCYC students and all the volunteers worked hard to make our procession outstanding, which was one of the highlights of our celebration. Our youth deserves special credit for performing Snatra puja flawlessly. All the volunteers of the various committees devoted a significant amount of their time and worked industriously to make these events extraordinary. We also received significant financial support and donations, with $575,000 of pledges from our sponsors and donors. Thank you to our donors for their generous contributions. Our new Pujari Amrishbhai Bhojak deserves special credit for his tireless work and dedication. Lastly, every single member of the community deserves recognition for helping us start our events on time and not doing Ratri Bhojan. After our celebrations finished, approximately 50 members of our Jain center attended the JAINA convention in Detroit, MI. It is my pleasure to inform you that two of our members, Purviben Parekh and Juhee Shah, received JAINA awards at the convention. Please join me in congratulating both of them for their achievements and outstanding services to our center. As the 25th anniversary celebrations have come to an end, Paryushan and Daslakshana celebrations are fast approaching. We are fortunate to have Shri Hiteshbhai Shah from Vadodara and Shri Shekharchand Jain from Ahmadabad to help us celebrate these Maha Parva. The exultation we demonstrated during the Jinalaya celebrations will only be magnified as we immerse ourselves spiritually into penance and prayers during Paryushan and Daslakshana in the upcoming months.

Respectfully, Dr. Jayesh Shah, President, JCSC
