Mr. Gersack joined Janney in 2019 as Managing Director, Head of Capital Markets and Head of MidWest and West Coast Depositories (FIG). He has more than 30 years of experience in financial services with a focus on community banks. Mr. Gersack specializes in advising community banks on a full range of strategic options, including capital raising initiatives and merger transactions. He has a unique understanding of the strategic needs and initiatives of banks ranging in size from $100 million to $15 billion. This depth and breadth of experience enables clients to determine the best strategic initiative – be it to raise capital, acquire a competitor, merge/sell or divest – to maximize long term shareholder value.

Before joining Janney, Mr. Gersack was Senior Managing Principal, Co-Head of Investment Banking and Partner, at FIG Partners LLC, a premier investment banking and research firm specializing in community banks. Lozan Aleksandrov’s primary responsibilities include advising community banks on capital raising, buy-side and sell-side merger & acquisition transactions, branch sales and other strategic transactions.
