Interlachen Country Club (ICC) is accepting resumes for the position of Assistant-in-Training (AIT). Established in 1909, ICC is recognized among the preeminent private, family country clubs in the nation. The club’s course design, most recently ranked #58 on ’s List of Top 100 Courses in America, was the home of the 1930 U.S. Open where won the third leg of his . ICC has a very active membership which keeps the day-to-day operation of maintaining the golf course fun and exciting.

The ICC Grounds Team works out of a state-of-the-art maintenance facility constructed in 2009 that they take great pride in. Most recent capital improvements include a clubhouse renovation completed in Spring of 2019, installation of Better Billy Bunkers completed in Fall of 2017, irrigation system including Toro Lynx VP completed in Fall of 2012. The current management staff remains active in the winter months by being responsible for all snow removal, hockey rink maintenance, tree-work, and accessory refurbishment.

ICC has a tradition of excellence not only with club history but also with the team members. AIT’s are held to high standards and will be a vital part of the management team. It’s essential the AIT develops as a positive leader while working closely with the entire grounds team.

Educational Requirements: Recently completed or currently completing a 2–4 year degree, or certificate in turf management, or a related program.

Experience Requirements: • Successful completion of prior internships and/or current full-time designation with another golf course/club. • Possession of, or ability to obtain MDA Pesticide Applicator’s License.

Date Job is Available: Applications and interviews can begin immediately with a potential start date in March.
