In the 1970s, Deutsche Genossenschaftsbank (DG Bank) moved from its previous home on Taunustor#0214 into a new building by the River Main. With its granite-faced corner pillars trimmed to a 45-degree angle and its striking, projecting balconies, this Brutalist tower stands in marked contrast to the sleek façades of earlier high-rises such as the neighbouring Hotel Intercontinental. The corner  0304.1 towers and lift core contain the service infrastructure and bear the load of the tower. Today, the building is home to Union Investment, the investment arm of DZ Bank.
