Scoring 1,000 is a bit of a 'big deal.' To be able to achieve making 1,000 points, a player has to put a lot of work into their game; countless hours of practice, of on-court playing, of being a major part of the team is required in order to reach the achievement of a player scoring their 1,000th point. Timothy “Tima” Finlayson, of Aucilla Christian Academy, achieved that major milestone while playing against Munroe on February 13 during his team's District Semi-Finals. For Finlayson, it was really only a matter of time. “I grew up in a basketball family,” said Finlayson humbly, adding that he grew up playing the sport with his immediate and extended family. Joining the Aucilla Warriors was a natural choice, and reaching his 1,000th point on the playing court is something that was Photo Submitted undoubtably the result of hard work, dedication and a love for the sport. It shouldn't surprise anyone that Finlayson plans to pursue a career in sports. When he's not playing basketball, Finlayson also plays golf, and says its actually the latter that he is going to play in college while studying for a degree in sports management with the goal of becoming a coach. Camphor lumber was the material of choice for sea chest and other storage containers for clothing and textiles. It has the enviable traits of repelling moths and it resists the decaying effect of seawater on wood.
