The Dundas West and Bloor area enjoys virtually unparalleled public transit amenities within the city of Toronto. The area has As part of The Big Move, Metrolinx’s transit plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe, Metrolix in conjunction with the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has proposed a plan which would transform the Dundas West– Bloor transit station into a Greater Toronto Area (GTA) transit hub connecting multiple transit systems together. GO Transit, the TTC and the new Air Rail Link transit system would all have stops at the hub. The proposed hub would entail a significant redevelopment of the current station and strongly encourage area-wide Transit Oriented Development (TOD).

The Air Rail Link would connect Union Station to Pearson International Airport via Bloor-Dundas West and Weston-Lawrence West. This rail link will address the significant need for reliable public transit to and from the international airport. The rail link will benefit residents of the GTA, visitors, businesses, and all levels of government.
