Crown Motors brings car owners to Tokyo for Japan’s 86 Festival

Crown Motors Limited (CML) and HK86Club, a club for Toyota 86’s car owner in Hong Kong, jointly hosted a 4-day trip and brought the members of HK86Club to Tokyo, Japan and participated in the annual “86 Style” in the first week of August. CML aimed to igniting the excitement of Toyota’s sports cars and strengthening the customer relationships with Toyota 86’s owner through this exclusive tour.

The 2nd Japan’s Toyota “86 Style” was held in Fuji Speedway on Aug 4. Over 500 units of Toyota 86 were gathered at the venue to participate in the annual flagship event. Highlights of the event include a parade of 300 units of Toyota 86 and a car racing participated by 24 cars. Approximately 100 booths were setup for live interviews, lucky draws, exhibitions, modification parts and accessories and souvenirs.

A total of 20 members of HK86Club in Hong Kong joined the tour and departed from Hong Kong and arrived in Tokyo on Aug 2. With the arrangements of CML, the group was able to exchange their experience of driving Toyota 86 with Tetsuya Tada, Chief Engineer of 86 for Toyota Motors Corporation and Keiichi Tsushiya, who is as known as the King, to fully exploring the agility of Toyota 86

Apart from the “86 Style”, the group was also invited to MEGA WEB, a theme park where visitors can understands the ’s brand and cars, its latest technologies and future directions and test-ride on the newest models. The group was also arranged to visit a shop in Shinonome for modification parts and accessories.

CML has been supporting Toyota car-owner clubs such as Corolla Club, Ractis Owners’ Club, Wish Club and Noah-Voxy Club. The most recent events include test drives, snapshot contest, social responsibilities events and clubs anniversaries with respective clubs.

With CML’s arrangement, HK86Club members had a chance to exchange their experience of driving Toyota 86 with Tetsuya Tada (in black T-Shirt in center), Chief Engineer of 86 for Toyota Motors Corporation and Keiichi Tsushiya (in green racing wear), who is known as the Drifting King. The club members were excited to meet them in person.
