The A27 East of Lewes improvements

The A27 East of Lewes scheme We presented the first phase comprises two phases of work. in March 2019 and are now presenting Phase 2.

Phase 1 Phase 2 (current)

Combined walking and cycling path Improvements to the Drusillas roundabout junction along the south side of the A27 between Firle and Polegate

Improvements to the Polegate traffic signal junction and the New and upgraded crossings at addition of traffic signals at the Gainsborough Lane junction Wilmington, Selmeston and Firle

Construction of a section of dual carriageway between the New path from Drusillas up to Polegate junction and Cophall roundabout. The dual carriageway Berwick station will be created by widening the existing section of road.
