Jessica Duca, MSS, LSW, graduated from Geneva College in 1999 with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. After graduation, Jessica spent a summer building houses with Habitat for Humanity as an Americorps member in Dallas, TX.

Wanting to pursue social work as her life’s passion, Jessica went on to complete her Master’s of Social Service at Bryn Mawr College’s School of Social Work and Social Research in 2006. While in Philadelphia, PA and Arlington, VA, Jessica also worked in the elds of foster care, child care assistance and advocacy, and behavioral health.

Jessica began medical social work at UPMC Shadyside in 2010 on the stem cell transplant and oncology units. Jessica joined Heritage Valley Beaver as a social work case manager in 2011 and has really enjoyed working in acute care. Jessica is very excited for the opportunity to work with and serve the Beaver Falls and Beaver County community as an outpatient social worker. She is very interested learning how to improve patient outcomes by increasing awareness about community programs and services that could support general, nancial, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing.
