Gazipasa-Alanya International Airport (GZP) is the second airport of the city of Antalya, which welcomed about 6 million foreign visitors in 2016. About 25% of Antalya’s visitors have actually vacationed in Alanya, 135 kms to the east of the city center of Antalya. Alanya visitors have doubled since year 2006.
Due to the remote location of the existing Antalya Airport to major touristic centers in Alanya, the development and operation of the new Gazipasa-Alanya International Airport became inevitable. The airport serves commercial flights since 2010 and has become a major gateway to the region since then.

Gazipasa-Alanya Airport (GZP) traffic reached 740 thousand passengers in 2016. SAS, Transavia, Jettime, Finnair, Small Planet and Germania are some of the major airlines operating to GZP from numerous European destinations. In addition, Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines and Anadolujet connect GZP to Istanbul and Ankara (ESB) with frequent domestic flights.
15 airlines operate from GZP to 26 destinations in 12 different countries. The route network of GZP will expand further in 2017.

A major capacity enhancement project is completed in GZP, which added 6,000 m2 of terminal area and 3 additional aircraft parking spaces. In addition, runway is extended to 2,350 m. With the extended runway, GZP is now capable of serving A321 aircraft.
