• Register your smartphone and credit card information on our registration page in advance of the event or upon arrival. • Once your smartphone is registered, you will receive an automated “Welcome” text with your bidder URL. If you do not receive a text message, see a volunteer or staff member. • After clicking the URL in the text, confirm your name when prompted and begin searching for silent auction packages by number, keyword, or category. • Select the package you wish to bid on. • You can bid the next increment, set a max bid, or simply “Watch” packages. If you enter the highest max bid on a package, the system will automatically place bids in your favor until your max bid is reached or until the silent auction closes. If your bid is lower than the highest max bid on that package, you will be prompted to enter a higher bid. • If you’re outbid at any point before the silent auction closes, you’ll be notified by text message. • You can keep an eye on packages you’ve bid on or are watching by selecting the menu button and selecting the “My List” button located at the left. • As soon as the silent auction closes, the guest with the highest bid will win. • Under “My List” you can check your winning packages.

Important Information on Tax Deductions Any amount paid over the “fair market value” may be considered a tax-deductible contribution. Stated values are estimates in some cases and are provided for buyers’ guidance only. Please consult your personal tax professional.

The Live Auction will take place immediately following dinner. Live Auction Bidding Procedures • To enter a bid, raise your auction paddle high to attract the attention of the auction spotters. • In case of tie bids or disputes, the auctioneer’s decision is considered final. • Winning bidders will be asked to sign a “Live Auction Invoice” at their tables. • Payments from winning bidders will be received according to the payment methods below.

Payment and Checkout Auction checkout will open following the Heads and Tails game. Cash, checks, or credit cards are accepted. All purchases become the responsibility of the buyer, and items must be removed from the venue the evening of the Bash. • To speed up your check-out process, consider registering a credit card to which all your event sales will be charged — you may have done this when you purchased your Bash tickets. • You can also register a card at check-in the night of the event. • If you wish, visit a check-out station or volunteer at the end of the night to review your sales and/or pay by check or cash.

Here’s how this fun game goes: Purchase bead necklaces during the Silent Auction/Cocktail Hour ($20 each). Later, in the dining room, the auctioneer will instruct everyone with a bead necklace to stand. Each player will choose Heads or Tails by placing their hands on their heads or their hips. The auctioneer will flip a coin. Those with the correct choice remain standing – the others sit. When you lose, you take off your one strand of beads and you sit down. The game continues until one winner is left standing. The more beads you buy and wear, the more chances you have to win a $500 night out in Saint Paul!
