This library is a valuable addition to any polymer chemist’s toolbox. It includes a wide array of spectra of plastics and additives run using a single-bounce diamond ATR accessory.

The OMNIC Specta Polymers and Plasticizers library features 204 spectra of materials from the Polymer Sample Kit (Catalog number 205) from Scientific Polymer Products, Inc. All spectra were collected using a single-bounce diamond ATR accessory with no sample preparation. Two library files are included – one including the native ATR spectra and one with the spectra corrected using the Advanced ATR Correction from OMNIC software. The ATR corrected spectra can be used to directly compare with transmission spectra.

Each spectrum in the library includes information on the chemical name, CAS number, sample form, and Scientific Polymer Products catalog number.
