Pro-Programs Information Sheet Updated: 2021.03.30

Pro-Deals or Pro-Programs are discounts that outdoor recreation companies offer to individuals working within the industry. Each company has a slightly different set of requirements that must be met to access these deals. Below, we have laid out links and requirements for a handful of prominent outdoor retailers that Summit partners with through our retail shop.

** Note: Abusing these programs can result in our whole company losing access to the brand or program. Products purchased through these programs are not for resale and are only for personal use (i.e. don’t share your discount information or login with anyone).

IPA Collective - the Pro Program of all Pro Programs. Requirements: Work for Summit :)

Additional Information: Find the Summit specific page under the Pro Organizations and Retailers tab. Create an account (you will need to provide proof of employment). Some of the many amazing brands you will have access to are Black Diamond, The North Face, Petzl, Mammut, Blundstone, Smartwool, and Skratch Labs.

La Sportiva Requirements: The La Sportiva Pro Program is available to qualified outdoor professionals. No requirements are currently required outside of working within the industry.

Additional information: The La Sportiva Pro Program gives you the choice to sign up with ExpertVoice, Outdoor Prolink, or IPA Connect in order to access the products and order portals.

Scarpa Requirements: SCARPA North America extends a PRO PURCHASE PROGRAM to select, full time, paid outdoor professionals, who require our products to perform responsibilities directly related to their employment. Qualification is based on specific categories of industry professionals. SCARPA North America, Inc. (SNA) offers discounted pricing for currently employed retail employees of current SCARPA dealers. This program is for employee’s personal use only and is NOT to be re-sold or given to friends or family. All EP orders will be shipped directly to the place of employment only. No exceptions. All orders are subject to review. SCARPA North America reserves the right to cancel any order and revoke EPP privileges of any individual or group found in violation of the program. Additional instruction: ● STEP 1: Read Dealer Employee qualifications. ● STEP 2: Determine if Individual, Group, or EP application is correct for you and which category you qualify for ● STEP 3: Go to the Pro Application page to fill out an online application ● STEP 4: You will receive an email from the Scarpa pro department with further instructions and / or will receive an email once your application has been approved or denied.

Scarpa Pro Deal Registration

Petzl Requirements: To qualify for the PETZL Pro Purchase Program, an individual should reside in the US, and fit one of the following categories: - Employee at an authorized Petzl retail store - Professional in the Outdoor, Ski, or Hunt/Fish industry - Use Petzl Sport products as a part of daily, paid, work requirements such as a guide, climbing gym employee, backcountry ranger, SAR professional, etc. Guidelines: ● Accounts are for personal use only. Purchases for family, friends, climbing partners, guided clients, or for resale/rental is prohibited. ● Membership must be renewed annually based on your active work status. ● At this time, expedited shipping is unavailable on Pro Purchases so please plan your purchases accordingly. ● Please do not attempt to return your purchases. Petzl does not accept returns on Pro Purchases with the rare exception of mis-shipped products -- to ensure you are ordering the correct product/size, feel free to use the Petzl website as a resource or contact the Pro Purchase Team for assistance. ● All out-of-stock and backordered items will be canceled. Evolv Requirements: Evolv’s Pro Purchase Program is open to full time outdoor retail employees, certified guides, active military and law enforcement and Evolv dealer employees.

Metolius Requirements: Metolius offers pro deals to the employees of our dealers, AMGA-certified guides, and members of the military. To qualify, just visit https://www.metoliusclimbing.com and use the monthly code. This code will change monthly. Please email your Retail Director and Retail Coordinator to get access to the new code!

Prana Requirements: None.

Additional Information: Prana’s Pro Program is called the “Influencer Program”. To sign up as a Prana Influencer, fill out the application that is linked below. As a climbing gym employee, you are eligible for the discount, you just need to provide proof of employment (can be a pay stub, offer letter, etc).
