~Library News~ It is impossible to believe that we are nearing the end of school, BUT WE ARE! In order to keep up with ALL of the books that are over-due, Mrs. Leake needs your help. Please take a few minutes and remind your students to check under beds, under car seats, behind the couch; wherever he/she might have stolen way time to read a favorite title. If your student is younger, please follow these steps and you can see his/her library history in order to make sure all of the books are turned in. 1. www.texomachristian.org 3. Brennen Robinson

Brennen Avery Vaughn Robinson has been a student at Texoma Christian School since seventh grade. While at TCS, he has participated in , , golf, track and is a member of National Honor Society. Outside of school, Brennen is an avid Dallas/Fort Worth sports fan. He is a life‐ guard, and he is a Cracker Barrel employee. He enjoys spending time with friends and family and being with the basketball team. Some of Brennen’s favorite memories of his days at TCS include going to the State tournament in basketball his junior year, the trip to London, and the mission trips his sophomore and junior year. Brennen explained that academically TCS gave him accountability. There was no way he could barely try and still get good grades here. Spiritually, the atmosphere at TCS gave him a sense of comfort of not only knowing that God is here, but that He’s on his side. When asked who has influenced him throughout his school years, Brennen said, “My family has always been teammates in life. They have my back, but they still tell me where I need to pick it up.” Following high school, Brennen plans to attend Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He wants to major in Pre‐Med, and go on to Medical School to become a Pediatric Hematologist. One of Brennen’s favorite scriptures is Revelation 12:10‐12. “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, ‘Now has come salvation and strength, and the kingdom of our God and the power of His Christ: For the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. For this reason, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time.’ ” Brennen’s advice to future high school seniors is, “Relax! Do not let what people think of you control your happiness.” March 23, 2017
