Pasta was not eaten in New Zealand. Indian restaurants were only found in India. Curry was a surname. Cooking outside was called camping. A takeaway was a mathematical problem. Seaweed was not a recognised food. A pizza was something to do with a leaning “Kebab” was not even a word, never mind a tower. food.
