We extend a warm welcome to you for joining the ITM family. Congratulations on being selected to the ITM PGDM iConnect 2017-2019 at ITM Business School, Warangal. The inaugural session of the program is scheduled on 10th July, 2017 at 10.00 am at Seminar Hall, ITM Warangal. Attendance to this program is compulsory.

Student registration will take place on 10th July 2017 onwards from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm on the ground floor of the campus.

Those students who have opted for ITM hostel accommodation should follow the reporting schedule provided in Enclosure. Joining Instructions Point No. 1 (contact person is Mr.Murali).

As per the Admission Offer Letter given to you, balance of Academic fee is to be paid on or before the due date by DD favoring “Institute for Technology & Management”, Mumbai.

If you are opting for hostel the fees has to be paid immediately as we have limited seats and will be allotted on first come first serve basis. Fees is to be paid by DD favoring “Institute for Technology & Management”, Mumbai.

In the event, we do not receive the Full First Year Fees before the stipulated date, the admission offered to you stands canceled and these Joining Instructions will not get applicable to you. Candidates who have already remitted the balance fees may ignore this.

ITM Business School, Warangal JOINING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Date of Reporting and Registration: 10th July 2017. If you have opted for ITM Hostel Facilities, please plan to arrive on 9th July 2017, so that you can register for the hostel and be assigned a room. Rooms are assigned on first-come first-serve basis.

2. Date of Inauguration: 10th July, 2017. You must present yourself at the campus at 10.00 am. sharp, on the above date in the Main Seminar Hall in the formal dress.

3. Campus Address: Near Shayampet x roads, Opp: APSRTC Tyre Unit, Hunter Road, , Warangal- 506 001. Tel: 0870-6564081 / 87 » How to reach the campus: From or Warangal railway station you can catch a bus numbered “3” and get down at Shayampet bus stop. The Institute Premises is 5 min. walk from the bus stop. Also you can engage an Auto from Kazipet railway station or Warangal railway station. Auto might charge approx. Rs. 100/-. You can give the landmark as adjacent to Alluri College.

4. Academic Calendar: The ITM PGDM iConnect 2017-19 program is of 2-year duration, on a semester pattern. The academic calendar includes academic terms, iConnect Core Internship Term, NGO Project and Capstone Project.

5. Student Handbook: You will be issued the ITM Students Handbook after the commencement of the program. The handbook contains detailed rules and regulations covering all aspects of your PGDM program.

6. Documentary Requirements: Please bring the following documents at the time of reporting to the campus: • Joining instructions letter, duly signed by your parents / guardian. • Original Receipt / photocopy of Full Fees payment issued by ITM. • Original Admission Offer Letter with your parent s / guardian’s signature • 6 postage stamp size color photographs (in formal attire) • 4 passport size color photographs (in formal attire) • Medical Records (if any) and Blood Group Certificate issued by Pathology Lab • All Academic Mark sheets and Certificates - 10th, 12th & the Graduation Degree Certificate (Provisional Degree / Passing Certificate if the Degree is not issued) in original + photocopy. (Include post graduate, in case you have completed it). Mark sheets photo copy front & back, provided instructions are printed on back side. • Birth Certificate, in original + photocopy • Photocopy of your and parent / guardian’s PAN Card • Original Migration Certificate in case of students graduating from out of Maharashtra State and Original Transfer Certificate from the college in case of students graduating from within the State of Maharashtra. Please note that your admission and registration is subject to all your documents being in order, and full payment of fees.

7. Medical Fitness Certificate: Please undergo complete medical check–up and submit the certificate of fitness from a registered Medical Practitioner at the time of reporting for the course, indicating that you are free from of any of the ailments that may interfere with your studies and academic performance.

8. Accommodation and Food: The Institute offers excellent hostel facilities (separate for boys and girls) with plenty of comforts and amenities to make your 2 year stay comfortable. Hostel fees include a full meal plan, serving breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner on all days of the academic session. If you have not already registered for the hostel, please do so immediately as hostel availability is on first come, first - served basis. Contact the Admin-Manager at the numbers mentioned below.

Girls Hostel Warden: Mrs.Padmavathi – 93913 58771 RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Conduct and behavior: a. Consumption of Alcohol, tobacco and drugs are strictly prohibited on campus and in the Hostels. b. ITM follows a Zero Tolerance Policy on Ragging, harassment, racism, religious or political activism. We do not tolerate improper conduct, offensive language, racist or derogatory statements or any conduct unbecoming of a student. c. All visitors to the campus are to be properly greeted, assisted and treated with utmost respect. Any student found indulging in the above activity shall be promptly expelled from the institute.

2. Rules concerning ragging : ITM follows a “Zero Tolerance Policy “on ragging and related behavior, in accordance with the laws of India. Any incident of ragging will result in immediate suspension of the student, followed by formal Police Complaint. Ragging in any form has been declared by the Government of A.P, as a non-bailable offense, and ITM shall prosecute any student suspected of ragging to the fullest extent of the law. All students have to submit the Notarised Anti-Ragging Affidavit on a stamp paper of Rs. 100/- in originals at the time of registration (Affidavit format enclosed). Hence, kindly carry the same with you.

3. Dress code and grooming in normal working days: For boys: Business attire - trousers, full-sleeve shirt (tucked in), leather shoes and socks. For girls: Business attire - either western (skirts length of below knees / Trousers) or Indian, with minimal jewelry and comfortable business footwear. Grooming: At all times, students are expected to maintain a high standard of personal grooming.

4. Safety and security: a. Students are solely responsible for the security and custody of their personal belongings as well as any materials issued to them by ITM. This includes textbooks, uniform, etc. ITM will not be responsible for any loss or theft of the same. b. ITM strives to ensure a safe and secure campus environment for all students. Damaging and defacing Institute property is prohibited. Unauthorized access to restricted areas of Institute property is strictly prohibited and ITM shall not be responsible for any injury caused to students who do not follow these rules. c. Students are expected to restrict themselves to the campus or hostel premises during the session. d. Personal vehicles are not allowed for parking in campus. ITM discourages the use of personal vehicles due to the risk of accident. e. Students are not required to go out on any private picnics or any outings except other than officially sponsored.

5. Health and insurance: a. ITM Provides Medical Insurance to students against accident or illness. However, ITM shall not take responsibility with regard to prolonged illness or accidents. b. The commencement of insurance cover is subject to clearance from ITM Trust office and Insurance Company. The “clearance” means the confirmation of enrollment by ITM Trust office and the receipt of insurance cards by the students. Any Hospitalization expenditure prior to this has to be borne by the student only. Students are advised to liaise with Administration department for the collection of Insurance cards and to know the hospitalization a medi-claim /cashless procedure. c. For hostel students, in case of medical problem the warden and staff will take care of you for consulting doctor or hospital admission.

6. Attendance, Holidays and Leaves: a. The students are expected to attend all the classes and courses, throughout the academic year, failing which the student will not be permitted to attend the examinations of that term. However, students may apply for leave to Director to meet the medical and other exigencies. For the detailed class room attendance regulations please refer Students Hand Book which will be issued to you after commencement of the program. b. Students are required to seek permission from the Director for any absence from classes. c. Outstation travel during holidays is discouraged, due to security and safety reasons. Students must seek written permission of the Director prior to any outstation travel beyond city limits.

7. Hostel Rules and Regulations: For more information, clarification, contact Hostel Wardens (for mobile numbers refer the previous page). a. Hostel is furnished with bed, wardrobe, table, chair, Internet, hot water facility, and fitness center and a common room with TV, etc. Other items for personal use may be arranged by you. b. Campus Bus Service operates between girls hostel and campus. c. Playing of loud music, TV, Radio is prohibited d. Pet animals are prohibited in the hostel. e. No visitors are allowed in the Hostel or Dining Hall f. Card playing, gambling, betting games are strictly prohibited g. No student is allowed to stay out of the hostel overnight, except after obtaining written permission and in the custody of a local guardian who has been identified in writing by parent / guardian. h. All students must return to the hostel by 9.00 pm on working days and 10.00 pm on holidays and days preceding holidays. i. Students are advised to keep valuables in the lockers provided. ITM shall not be responsible for any loss /theft/damage to student property. j. Any damages to Institute property shall be recovered from the student. k. Filtered drinking water is available in the hostel. Students are advised to make use of this facility. l. Boys are forbidden to entertain lady guests in their hostels and vice versa. ITM takes such offenses very seriously and shall expel students violating this rule. m. Cooking is prohibited in the hostel rooms. n. Automobiles and 2-wheelers are prohibited in the hostel campus. o. Hostel Rooms once allotted cannot be changed. p. Uses of electrical equipment, such as Air Coolers, Stoves or other heavy electrical equipments/ accessories are not permitted. The Director and Hostel Warden or a designated representative is authorized to make random, surprise checks to monitor the compliance of the hostel rules and Regulations. q. Detailed hostel rules & regulations will be issued to you upon joining. UNDERTAKING
