The President stoo d up and offered a toast t o feaHKKXXx&beacgsasne* the Queen and then made REMARK S welcoming Princess Margare t an d her husband . He tol d he r h e was gla d t o have he r celebrat e him th e openin g o f the 32n d year of married life wit h on e of the mos t wonderfu l wome n in the worl d _ _ and offere d advice t o Lord Snowdon . Princes s Margare t responde d -- i n brief - - sh e was pleased to be here, sh e was gla d to see th e President looking s o well, an d sh e was sorr y not to be staying longer . Sh e offered a toast t o the President.

To the East Roo m for dancin g - - th e President and Mrs; Johnso n an d Princess Margaret Music fo r dancin g b y Pete r and Lord Snowdo n sat a t one of the smal l tables nea r th e cente r o f the room. A s Duchin and his orchestr a guests bega n filing int o the room , th e President too k PrincessMargaret to the floor with a surpris e and Lord Snowdo n danced with Mrs. Johnson . The n the President dance d with Mrs . appearance b v h e Johnson. Th e President danced quite a bit durin g the evening , an d was no t sitting i n Brothers Fou r his chai r very much. Durin g the evening he was see n having a quiet cha t with Amb. Kennet h Galbraith, th e Vic e President, an d Arthur Krim . H e had a good time, he looked well, an d danced with almost every woma n there.
