SERVICES 2.1 Services required: Background and purpose . Supplier is aware that over the last 24 months In Call Off Schedule 2 the Chief Financial Officer Portfolio in Police (Services) Scotland has gone through a series of changes to its operating model (including its organisation structure) having also changed a number of personnel within its Senior Management Team. The Finance function is now in a position to make a cultural and behavioural shift to an improved and more effective way of working through an empowered group of managers. It may help to further enhance the reputation of the teams across the organisation. Following a brief 3-week diagnostic phase, the approach involves intensive Waves of 12 weeks where we work face-to-face with your managers and their teams to coach them, uplift their capability and shape new work habits by introducing them to 10 tools, underpinned by technology. How We Have Tailored the Approach for Police Scotland? The Supplier will focus on the teams in Business Intelligence Payroll Service Desk (IT) We will coach your team leaders, introduce all of the Perform Plus tools and work to increase the capacity and capability within the teams in the focused 12-week period During this time, we will also train nominated members of the Police Scotland team. This in the future, could allow them to lead a potential o include the wider Finance teams, including for example Stores, Statutory Financial Reporting, FP&A and Business Investment. Customer responsibilities is dependent upon the Customer fulfilling your responsibilities, which include: Governance and Communications Timely and accurate information on any strategy, opinion, or programme within The Scottish Police Authority which could invalidate or otherwise affect the approach recommended in the agreement, such that both parties can avoid input into redundant activity. This will include information on current fees, charges and volumes. Timely review and sign-off as appropriate of interim milestones deliverables and final deliverables. The Scottish Police Authority will own the overall project and take responsibility for all decisions with senior management providing sponsorship and leadership as needed to achieve the objectives of the engagement. PwC will support this by following SPA governance processes for escalating project issues for resolution. The Scottish Police Authority will be responsible for staff and community communications and engagement relating to the activities, outputs and outcomes delivered through this agreement. Any restructure of the teams in scope of this project is halted by The Scottish Police Authority (unless discussed and agreed with PwC). The Scottish Police Authority will endeavour to maintain stability in line management and leadership, avoiding significant organisational changes during the deployment of Perform Plus. The Scottish Police Authority will set the expectation with team leaders that they should continue coaching and process confirmation activities with their staff following the completion of Management Consultancy Framework Two (MCF2) - RM6008 Framework Schedule 4 Template Call Off Order Form Attachment 5a © Crown copyright 2018 12 the Perform Plus programme deployment, to ensure that the elements implemented become truly embedded into business as usual. Accuracy and Completeness of Information The Scottish Police Authority will ensure the accuracy and completeness of any information it provides to PwC and will promptly notify PwC of any material inaccuracy, material error or material omission in any such information of which it becomes aware. PwC shall not verify any information given to it in connection with the Services by or on behalf of The Scottish Police Authority and shall not be liable for any delay or other consequences resulting from The perform its obligations in a timely manner. The Scottish Police Authority shall provide PwC with such information and assistance as it may reasonably require from time to time which will include access to The Scottish Police Authority premises and staff. Any information provided by The Scottish Police Authority shall be the best available and shall not be misleading or infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party. The Consultant expects to provide oral advice in conjunction with the services. The Consultant shall not be held responsible for oral advice unless PwC confirms such advice in writing. Availability of Stakeholders Access to relevant employees (including IT stakeholders) and responsibility for their availability to attend workshops and meetings. A full list of attendees and meetings will be diarised during the mobilisation period, and will not be more frequent than once a week. This includes access to IT stakeholders to validate technical requirements, complete SPA information security assessment and whitelist Perform Plus URL and agree branding requirements. Logistics Security passes to enable appropriate access in and out of The Scottish Police Authority buildings. Making available a suitable room to deliver the Perform Plus training on a weekly basis requirements to be detailed during the mobilisation period Hardware The Scottish Police Authority to ensure appropriate hardware and access for the relevant teams to use the IT Product Technology, as outlined in the timeline available prior to the start of the delivery of the services. Most of these issues involved creating, uploading, copying, or delivering content. The total incident duration was 6 hours and 35 minutes, though the impact period differed between products, and impact was mitigated earlier for most users and services. We understand that this issue has impacted our valued customers and users, and we apologize to those who were affected. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF IMPACT Starting on August 19, 2020, from 20:55 to 03:30, Google Cloud services exhibited the following issues: ● Gmail: The Gmail service was unavailable for some users, and email delivery was delayed. About ​ 0.73% of Gmail users (both consumer and G Suite) active within the preceding seven days experienced 3 or more availability errors during the outage period. G Suite customers accounted for 27% of affected Gmail users. Additionally, some users experienced errors when adding attachments to messages. Impact on Gmail was mitigated by 03:30, and all messages delayed by this incident have been delivered. ● Drive: Some Google Drive users experienced errors and elevated latency. Approximately 1.5% of Drive ​ users (both consumer and G Suite) active within the preceding 24 hours experienced 3 or more errors during the outage period. ● Docs and Editors: Some Google Docs users experienced issues with image creation actions (for ​ example, uploading an image, copying a document with an image, or using a template with images).
