Kuwaiti media reports named the two Kuwaiti clerics as Sheikh Waleed Al-Ali and Sheikh Fahd Al- Husseini. There has been no claim of responsibility for Sunday night’s attack at the Aziz Istanbul restaurant, which was often packed with foreign nationals. Foreign Minister Alpha Barry told AFP that the “terror- ist” attack in the capital Ouagadougou killed seven locals and at least eight foreigners including one Frenchman; one Canadian woman; male victims from Senegal, Niger, Lebanon and Turkey; and two Kuwaiti men. Three victims remain unidentified, he said. Separately, Canada’s Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland said two Canadians were among the victims. Turkey confirmed that one of its citi- zens was among the dead, while Paris prosecutors said at least one French national died. Earlier in Ougadougou, Communications Minister Remis Dandjinou said about ten people had been injured, while security forces had killed two assailants in a counter-assault that went on until morning. Synopsis: Ingrid Thorburn (Aubrey Plaza) is an unhinged social media stalker with a history of confusing “likes” for meaningful relationships. Taylor Sloane (Elizabeth Olsen) is an Instagram-famous “influencer” whose perfectly curated, boho-chic lifestyle becomes Ingrid’s latest obsession. When Ingrid moves to LA and manages to insinuate herself into the social media star’s life, their relationship quickly goes from #BFF to #WTF. Built around a brilliantly disarming performance from Aubrey Plaza, Ingrid Goes West (winner of the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at Sundance) is a savagely hilarious dark comedy that satirizes the modern world of social media and proves that being #perfect isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. A CONVERSATION WITH WRITER/DIRECTOR MATT SPICER HOW DID THIS PROJECT ORIGINATE? My co-writer David Branson Smith and I have been friends for many years and were looking for something to work on together. We were having lunch and talking about our mutual obsession with Instagram and how it brings out the worst in us, making us feel bad about ourselves, while also being wildly entertaining and addictive.

ABTRACT AFRICANA WOMEN'S STUDIES WILBURN, SHENETHA L. B.A. HAMPTON UNIVERSITY, 1997 DECONSTRUCTION OF STEREOTYPES AND MEDIATED MESSAGES IN AFRICAN-AMERICAN SITCOMS Advisor: Dr. Josephine Bradley Thesis dated May, 2002 This study examines the images of African Americans in black-themed sitcoms and mediated messages presented here. The study was based on the premise that the images of African Americans on television sitcoms are one dimensional and comedic. A content analysis approach was used to analyze various television sitcoms. Definitions were used to determine what type of image existed using the foundation provided by Donald Bogle and Stewart Hall. The researcher found that although many of the African-American-themed sitcoms investigated represented traditional stereotypical images, there were mediated messages in these sitcoms, which offered a new and different perspective on African Americans. This suggests that African-American images on black-themed sitcoms are moving forward. Additionally, the researcher found that sitcoms depicting African-American life from a comedic point-of-view seem to be more acceptable in popular culture than those which depict life from a dramatic and/or realistic point-of-view. Previous meetings • There were two penalties and an own goal in the first leg at the Stadion Rajko Mitić, Milan taking the lead twice before Crvena zvezda substitute Milan Pavkov grabbed an added-time equaliser to keep alive his team's hopes of reaching the round of 16 for the first time. • The clubs have been paired twice previously in UEFA competition, the Italian side prevailing on both occasions. Most famously, they triumphed on penalties in the second round of the 1988/89 European Cup – which the Rossoneri went on to win – after two 1-1 draws, the second of which, in Belgrade, came a day after the initial second leg had been abandoned because of fog with the home side leading 1-0.
