As co-chairs, we are honored to continue the tradition of this event in support of such an important cause. We would also like to welcome the newly arrived ambassadors, and their families, to Washington, D.C. Tonight, Washington’s business, legislative, and philanthropic leaders will join us in honoring the Washington Diplomatic Corps for their invaluable generosity and contributions to our community. The support of such a diverse group tonight is a reflection of the realities of this disease – MS knows no state or national boundaries. This disease will continue to affect hundreds of thousands of people in the U.S. and 2.5 million worldwide until we find a cure. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society mobilizes people and resources to fund research for a cure, and to address many of the challenges faced by all those affected by MS. We are proud to join the National MS Society to express our gratitude for all your contributions to further this mission. Welcome to the 35th Annual Ambassadors Ball – we wish you a wonderful evening!
