The Wolverine Boys’ Basketball program has a long tradition of winning Mission League championships and competing for CIF and State titles. For over two decades, Taper Gymnasium has been home to some of the best players and most successful teams in Southern California high school basketball history. Harvard-Westlake Boys’ Basketball has a rich tradition of combining academic excellence with athletic success. Greg Hilliard, Head of the Boys’ Basketball program, joined Harvard School for Boys in 1984 and helped steered the program through the merger of Harvard and Westlake Schools in 1991. Since taking over the program, Coach Hilliard has led the Wolverines to ten league, nine CIF and two state championships – the most by any Harvard- Westlake coach. With just under four decades of coaching experience, he is one of the winningest coaches in California state history. He is among the most respected coaches in the game and under his guidance, many HW student-athletes have gone on to success both on and off the court. Sustained success at the Varsity level can only be achieved by developing student- athletes from the middle school through the high school levels.

  • Despite Filing Lawsuit, Bill Bowlen's Lawyer
Despite filing lawsuit, Bill Bowlen’s lawyer hopes for out- of-court resolution with trustees By Ryan O’Halloran The Denver Post October 27, 2018 A lawyer representing Bill Bowlen, who filed a lawsuit Thursday asking that the three-member trust appointed by Broncos owner Pat Bowlen to run the team be removed from power, said the goal is to have an out-of-court resolution. Giovanni Ruscitti of the firm Berg Hill Greenleaf Ruscitti LLP in Boulder also represents Beth Bowlen- Wallace, who has the support of her uncle Bill to become the Broncos’ next controlling owner. “From our perspective, what’s next is that we hope we’re in discussions with the trustees and their attorneys,” Ruscitti told The Denver Post in a phone interview on Friday. “I would hope we could sit down and have a professional discussion that would lead to an amicable resolution. It’s something we were pushing for from the get go. “We were hoping we didn’t have to file it. It was our sincere hope that these issues could be worked out.” Bill Bowlen filed the petition in Arapahoe County District Court in Centennial and alleged that trustees Joe Ellis, Rich Slivka and Mary Kelly have not upheld Pat Bowlen’s wishes and “have conflicts of interest that impair their ability to act impartially in Pat Bowlen’s interest.” Through a public relations firm, Bill Bowlen declined to an interview request on Friday. As of Friday afternoon, Ruscitti said the trustees have not been served the lawsuit’s paperwork. “We expect them to obviously fight this,” Ruscitti said.

  • Dynasty Stash Report – 2017 Offensive Players for Dynasty 2018 (Top 50+)
2018 DYNASTY STASH REPORT JANUARY 1, 2018 Dynasty Stash Report – 2017 Offensive Players for Dynasty 2018 (Top 50+) *Original Post starting November and running through the end of the 2017 season on Fantasy Football Metrics.* On FFM, we start the Dynasty Stash report around mid-season and keep adding names, commentary, and valuations until the end of the season. Posting the report here for those that need it and want it in a PDF form. Some of these players got on the list before they became ‘a thing’. Some young players were added as to just compare valuations of players I got a lot of questions on. ===================== Original/Final Post for 2017 season: *Honorable Mention names added…and they may have commentary coming up, but I wanted to start adding the deeper-deeper options. Notes: This is not the complete list (as of 11/7 kickoff), just 15 names on our way to 50+ with commentary and another 25+ of ‘honorable mentions’. This is just the first 15 names out of the gates…players I see as ‘on waivers’ or are completely undervalued/easier available in trade/bottom of the roster kind of players (for others). The names we’ll add over the next 1-2-3-4 weeks…some will jump into the top 10. This early list (as of Week 10) is not the ‘holy’ 15. They are guys more available now, as I pen this. Example D’Onta Foreman is on too many rosters as a ‘handcuff’ to call as ‘stash’ right away. However, I will add him into this as a guy easier to acquire in trade…and adding guys like him (like a Marlon Mack, let’s say) to show where we value young prospects among the stash names.
