And I always preferred it live. When I me to do Can't Stop Now instead, which is my favourite Keane song, listened to the recorded version the first thing I noticed was that there should be a) lots of coincidentally. It's the first song I've recorded so I'm interested in any comments. I managed to get it all into my lovely computer and used a multitrack software, Cheers, Garry that allowed me to built up a nice wall of guitar playing. This has been the fastest track I’ve ever recorded and mixed, I think, in terms of my end of things. I found out at the eleventh hour I am quite pleased with the result, and I hope (possibly about 11.47) that there was a problem with one of the tracks and they needed a replacement sharpish, so I put this piano disaster together - you like my interpretation of the song. On the project Karin, Girid and Markus (keane.at)

The idea to compile this complete cover album sprung up after several fans had, on their own initiative, covered single Keane songs and submitted them to www.keane.at and elsewhere for other fans to download.

The musicians are members of the official Keane forum on www.keanemusic.com, all of whom used very different means of recording and came up with their own interpretation of one of the twelve Hopes and Fears tracks. [email protected] [email protected] [email protected]

You can download the entire album as well from this website: http://covers.keane.at If you do so, we’d ask you for a small donation to any of the Tsunami Design relief organisations. Please find links for donating on the above website as well. Heard Keane for the very first time in early 2004 and their music is guiding my life since then. Thanks to that I got to Enjoy this different version of Hopes and Fears! know Karin, Girid and Markus - which is a huge pleasure - and we started working together.
