Rust Bucket Next to a Sparkling Black Bentley FADE IN: INT. JUSTINE AND ADAM'S APARTMENT - DAY It's evening in an immaculately clean, modern apartment. There's SHOUTING getting louder and louder. ADAM and JUSTINE, both early 20s, burst into the apartment, mid-argument. Justine is dressed in a professional-looking dress, Adam is wearing jeans. JUSTINE It's just the same thing every day with you. I don't even know what I can do at this point. ADAM I'm really trying to understand where you're coming from, but I just don't. JUSTINE That's literally what I'm saying. ADAM Well why don't you educate me then? Tell me what you want me to do. Justine sighs. JUSTINE What did you do today? Adam chuckles. ADAM What? JUSTINE Just tell me everything you did today. I'd love to hear all the exciting things that happened in Adam's world this time. ADAM Okay fine. Today I woke up and went-- JUSTINE And what time was that? ADAM Like one-thirty I think. Created using Celtx 2. Silence. EXT. APARTMENT - NIGHT The apartment is in a large, brand new complex that does not fit the beat up two-family houses on either side. On the street, there are a group of tough looking guys drinking and smoking cigarettes while yelling at the occasional early morning jogger. We see their third floor window SLAM shut. INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT Their room is at the end of a short hallway from the living room. Clothes are strewn around the room, it is much less neat than the rest of the apartment. JUSTINE I can't even think with all that fucking noise outside. What time even is it? ADAM It's gotta be at least 4 or 5 by now. JUSTINE Someone has to do something about that. Those assholes just stand on the corner and scream at each other all the time. ADAM Oh yeah, I can't imagine someone yelling all the time for no reason. Justine abruptly rushes out of the room. ADAM C'mon I'm just kidding, baby, you know that. I love your voice no matter how much you yell. Adam laughs to himself. After a moment, he casually walks after her. ADAM I mean in their defense, they were there before we even moved in. Now that I think about it I think they're out there more than we're even home. Pretty sure that corner might be legally theirs now or something-- Created using Celtx 3. Justine brushes by Adam in the hallway carrying a suitcase and keys. She swiftly walks back into their bedroom and throws a few fist-fulls of clothes in. She zips up the bag and proceeds towards the front door. ADAM Okay you made your point, I'm sorry. Can we please just go to bed now? I'm so tired of all this fighting. Justine opens the door and pauses. She turns to Adam, calmly. JUSTINE I'm glad you find this funny. ADAM I promise nothing's funny. I was just being stupid. JUSTINE You're not stupid, Adam, you're oblivious. I hope you figure this whole growing up thing out someday. (pause) But I'm done waiting for someone who still thinks they're 18. Justine shuts the door behind her before Adam can say a word. He watches her leave from the window. ADAM Where are you even going? JUSTINE Shouldn't matter to you. Justine unlocks the car door from across the street. The group of guys on the street turn their attention to her, as she walks by. TOUGH GUY #1 What's wrong, gorgeous? Boy troubles? Justine ignores the comment and continues towards the car. Adam yells out the window. ADAM What the fuck? That's my car! JUSTINE Oh stop, your parents wanted me to Created using Celtx 4. have it anyway. Huge laughter erupts from the tough guys as Justine starts the car. TOUGH GUY #1 Ay, if you need some company where you're going just say the word. ADAM Hey, fuck you. The group stops and looks up to the window. TOUGH GUY #1 Why don't you come the fuck down here huh, tough guy? I'll knock your teeth through the back of your fucking head before your girl puts her seatbelt on. TOUGH GUY #2 Who's this fuck think he is? The guys stumble towards the front steps and drunkenly bang on the door. ADAM (quiet) Sorry. Adam quickly shuts the window and slowly wanders to the refrigerator, grabs a six-pack of beer, and sits on the couch. He looks at the spotless coffee table, pauses, and slowly places his feet on top. INT. ADAM'S BEDROOM - DAY Adam is sprawled out on the middle of the large, messy bed, deep asleep. The room is now completely trashed; empty beer cans and whiskey bottles line the floor, and an open pizza box sits at the foot of the bed. It is the middle of the day, and the room is extremely bright from the sun coming through the unshaded windows. A LOUD RINGING fills the room for several seconds before Adam finally reaches for his phone. After he slowly opens his eyes and gets his bearings, he flips over and eagerly grabs his phone. He looks at the name and drops his head before rejecting the call and rolling back over. Created using Celtx 5. ADAM (mumbles) Fuck that. After a few seconds of quiet, the phone rings again. Adam grunts out of frustration and forces himself to sit up. He slaps himself in the face and grabs his phone. He clears his throat and takes a deep breath. ADAM Hello. ADAM'S DAD Wow, just waking up huh? ADAM Nah my voice just sounds like this. ADAM'S DAD I'm sure. ADAM What's up, Dad? ADAM'S DAD Good. How's work going? ADAM It's good. Real good. ADAM'S DAD Is it now? ADAM Yeah, I'm getting some great experience. ADAM'S DAD Well that's funny because I talked to your boss. He says you haven't come in once this week. ADAM (pause) Oh yeah, I've just been crazy busy this week. ADAM'S DAD Jeez, well what does Justine think of all this? Created using Celtx 6. ADAM Actually, Justine and I broke up. ADAM'S DAD You what? ADAM ADAM'S DAD We talked about it and we She was great. That's a real just don't think there's a shame. How'd you manage to future because we both want screw this one up? different things. ADAM I didn't screw anything up, it just didn't work out. (pause) Look thanks for checking in, Dad, is there anything else? ADAM'S DAD Actually yes. The real reason I'm calling you is because I'm obligated to tell you that you should probably give your mother a call. ADAM What does that mean? ADAM'S DAD I don't really know, but I was told to tell you that things have gotten worse with her. ADAM ADAM'S DAD What do you mean worse? How Look, all I know is that sick is she? Is she going to apparently she's not doing be okay? great. You can do anything you want with that information. ADAM I should see her. ADAM'S DAD You can do whatever you want, but it's all on you. I'm not paying for a cross country flight if you're not even going to show up for work. ADAM Well fine maybe I'll just drive to Created using Celtx 7. California. Adam looks out the window, where his parking space is empty. EXT. STREET - NIGHT Adam stumbles around, mumbles to himself, visibly hammered. He strolls down the dark, city street, when he hears muffled MUSIC and TALKING. He notices a beat up metal door below the sidewalk with no sign. He walks closer and opens the door a crack to check inside. INT. BAR - NIGHT A true dive bar, filled with locals from the neighborhood. Everyone clearly knows each other. Irish music blasts as people loudly talk, dance and drink. Adam opens the door and tries to casually walk towards the bar. He immediately draws the attention of everyone he passes. He stumbles onto an open stool. TYLER Coming in hot there, huh? Adam laughs. ADAM You didn't see that. TYLER, early 20s, sits on the stool next to Adam, drinking a beer alone. He wears a ratty, worn jacket and an old baseball cap. Adam tries to get the bartender's attention for several minutes, while he clearly ignores him. Eventually, a huge man with prison tattoos saunters over. BARTENDER Alright what'll you have? ADAM (slurring) Vodka redbull, please. The bartender gives Tyler a look of amusement. BARTENDER (sarcastically) You want a straw too? Created using Celtx 8. ADAM If you've got one sure. Tyler turns away trying not to laugh. The bartender nods and walks to the other end of the bar. TYLER Let me guess, just moved here? Adam turns to Tyler, confused. ADAM Uh yeah...a little over a month ago. How'd you know that? TYLER Between the pink polo and vodka redbull, you're not exactly Southie's finest. ADAM (looking around) Yeah I've never seen anything like this. Looks like the movies in here. TYLER This is what people that are actually from here look like. The bartender returns with a grin on his face.

International OPEN ACCESS Journal Of Modern Engineering Research (IJMER) Design and Impact Analysis of a Car Door M. Raghuveer1, Ganti Satya Prakash2 1M.Tech student, Dept of Mech. Engg, CMR Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, IN 2 Asst. prof, Dept of Mech. Engg, CMR Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, IN Abstract: Car door is one of the main parts which are used as protection for passengers from side collisions. Presently steel is used for car doors construction. The aim of the project is to analyze the car door with presently used material steel and replacing with composite materials like Aluminum, Carbon Epoxy, S-glass epoxy, E-Glass epoxy. Impact analysis is conducted on door for different speeds by varying the materials. Best of the result we will consider for the door design. Also we are going to reduce weight of the door by using composite materials replacing with steel. By this we have to reduce the damage percentage of the car and passenger protection. In this project, the Car door is modeled using parametric modeling software Pro/Engineer. Pro/ENGINEER is the standard in 3D product design, featuring industry-leading productivity tools that promote best practices in design. We have to variety the materials of the car door and speed to impacting of door. Keywords: We are doing impact analysis in the software COSMOS (SOLID WORKS). I. Introduction The A vehicle door is a type of door, typically hinged, but sometimes attached by other mechanisms such as tracks, in front of an opening which is used for entering and exiting a vehicle.

A Line Made By Walking and Assembling Bits and Pieces of the Bodywork of Illegally Dumped Cars Found at the Edge of Roads and Tracks in the Illawarra Escarpment Brogan Bunt April 2013 (broganbunt.net) INTRODUCTION These are set of blog posts enmeshed in an overall project that responds to aspects of my local environment. I live in Wollongong at the base of Mt Keira and at the edge of the Illawarra escarpment bush. At the top of my driveway, looking southeast, I can see the Port Kembla steelworks just a few kilometres away, spewing smoke and flames. But turn the other way, towards the west, and I’m facing thick green temperate rainforest. This hardly, however, constitutes a pure contrast between nature and human industry. The escarpment bush is no pristine wilderness. It was extensively logged a century ago and is now full of feral deer, rampant weeds and all manner of gently and brutally inscribed human traces. Despite this, the escarpment retains a strange resilience. It always strikes me as wonderful that I can head out my door and be immersed in this steep, green and leechy space for hours at a time without encountering anything that remotely resembles a suburban street. I often wander up to the high ridges, following slight trails and risking becoming benighted or lost. This project is an excuse to make something more of this experience, to explore its potential relation to dimensions of artistic practice. My specific focus is in pursuing a minor sculptural intervention, or at least in performing a specific sculptural act – cutting pieces out of illegally dumped cars.

This Note examines New York v. Class within the context of a trend toward erosion offourth amendment rights. The author asserts that Class was inconsistent with precedent, and proposes a state statute that would guarantee the protectionsheld inapplicable under the federal Constitution. INTRODUCTION IN THE PAST, the Supreme Court has analyzed the permissible scope of police intrusions involving automobiles in certain con- texts,' but not specifically within the context of vehicle identifica- tion number (VIN) inspections occurring during stops for traffic infractions.
