NORDIC FACT SHEET

XC lift tickets, current season tickets or day tickets are required for trail usage. Tickets are available at the lift ticket window at the main lodge. All loops are 18 feet wide and are power tilled and groomed for both skating and classic . Snowshoeing is allowed on far side of trail opposite classic track. Please remember down bound skiers have right of way. Upper loops ascend and descend on a beginner alpine slope. Please use caution.

Lower Blue/Lower Red Loop - beginner/intermediate – Start located at west end of ski area next to snow making pond reservoir. Trail includes the Lower Red loop trail which is lit for night skiing any time our downhill area is open for night skiing. Trail marked with Blue or Red markers. Lower Blue distance is 2.8 miles/4.5km. Night Red Loop is .70 miles/1.1km. Total distance of both trails is 3.5 miles/5.6km.

Upper Blue Loop - expert trail with numerous hills – Starts at the bottom of the Purple and heads uphill along the edge of the Bigtime and Easy Mile beginner alpine ski trails until it turns into the woods above the Red chairlift loading area. Trail exits onto the lower Easy Mile alpine beginner ski trail on its way back to the lodge and is marked with blue markers. Total distance is 5.3miles/8.5km. Upper Blue loop only is 3.8miles/6.2km.

Upper Red Loop – expert trail with fewer hills than the Upper Blue Loop – Starts at the bottom of the Purple chairlift and heads uphill along the edge of the Bigtime and Easy Mile beginner alpine ski trails until it turns into the woods above the Red chairlift loading area. Trail exits onto the lower Easy Mile alpine beginner ski trail on its way back to the lodge and is marked with red markers. Total distance from the lodge and back is 3.1miles/5.1km. Red Loop only is 1.6miles/2.6km long. Shared trail with Upper Blue is .25miles/.40km long.

Yellow Access Trail – Access trail to and from the upper Red and Blue loops starting at the west end of Valley Road. Trail is marked with yellow markers. Total distance out and back is 1 mile/1.6km.

Trails are groomed as fresh snowfall and usage necessitates and are not patrolled on a regular basis by ski patrol. Please – no pets as their paw prints destroy the groomed snow surface for other skiers. Total trail length of all loops is 12.9miles/20.8km.
