Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El is a congregation steeped in history and bragging rights that include having had only two senior rabbis since our founding more than 60 years ago. At the end of June, 2022, Rabbi Cooper will retire after three decades of incredible leadership at our shul. In order to identify the best candidate to guide our synagogue toward the next chapter, we need your help. Our Rabbi Search Committee, comprised of a diverse group of congregants, is working to ensure that your voice is heard. Our first step was the congregational survey you received several months ago. Now we are embarking on thought-provoking sessions open to every congregant. Throughout the month, our Committee will be hosting virtual parlor group meetings, and you are invited! While the meetings are organized around specific “interest groups” within the synagogue, any congregant can choose to attend any meeting. Each will provide the same content and forum for expressing your “wish list” for the synagogue and the new rabbi. Our process is open to all, and updates will be posted regularly on the TBH- BE website. Please join us for Zoom parlor meetings – all begin at 7:30 p.m. (unless noted) and last one hour. Each will be facilitated by members of our Search Committee, and we are hopeful for your active participation. Your opinion matters.

Parlor Meeting Dates – Please email [email protected] to confirm your attendance. Zoom information will follow:
