Vattenfall Brent Cross South will deliver new commitments to environmental sustainability. To achieve our ambition of becoming a net-zero carbon community, we have teamed up with our delivery partner, Vattenfall, a leading European energy company. Vattenfall will design, build and operate the district heating network over the coming decades, with a view to eventually removing all carbon dioxide emitting sources. https://www.vattenfall.co.uk/ The WorkShop on Claremont Way

The WorkShop, Claremont Way In December we began fixing up two of the vacant shops on Claremont Way next to the corner shop; this work was completed in March. In the short-term, a small number of the Brent Cross South project team will be using this as an office whilst things return to normal after the COVID-19 lockdown. As soon as it is safe to do so, The WorkShop, as it is now called, will be opened as a place for you to come and discuss the development with us. There will be an exhibition area with a model of the development, a meeting space and a small kitchen.

This is the first step towards improving the parade of shops on Claremont Way and temporarily opening up the vacant shop units. New model of the development

Visitor Centre After consultation last summer, a planning application was made in May this year for a temporary Visitor Centre in Claremont Open Space adjacent to Claremont Way. A separate planning application was also submitted to improve the public realm along Claremont Way, linking this area into the future ground levels. The Visitor Centre will provide an exhibition space and flexible ground floor commercial space, and forms part of The Exploratory area in and around Claremont Way.
