Summertime is a great time to help your child explore new worlds, new characters, and new ideas through books! Here are a few tips to help you get your child started on a lifetime of reading.

• Plan to visit your local library or bookstore to pick out a few new books. Before you go, talk with your child about the types of books that interest her.
