Mayfield’s return to the Apollo continues the relationship between the Theater and the famed jazz musician, which began in October, 2014, when Mayfield was on hand to induct Louis Armstrong into the Apollo Walk of Fame during the New Orleans to Harlem Jazz Weekend.
