2021 @ Whately Public Library Saturday 2 11AM Roger Tincknell performs Children’s Songs & Singing Games.

A highly interactive program appropriate for very young children and family audiences. Children sing, dance, move, imitate animals, play rhythm instruments, learn songs in Spanish and other languages through call and response, and explore other cultures through traditional and contemporary children's songs and play parties from around the world. The program also includes sing-alongs performed on guitar, banjo and other instruments.

This event is sponsored by Union 38 Family Network and a grant from the Whately Cultural Council, a local agency, which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. The Union 38 Network is funded by the Coordinated Family Community Engagement(CFCE) grant from the MA Department of Early Education and Care. Saturday 11AM Goblins & Giggles Stories for Halloween Eve performed by Acclaimed Story Teller Rona Leventhal (ages 5-8) Whos’ in the cave? It says it’s going to eat you! Is there anything scary out there in the dark? Ever heard of a ghoul that just wants to show you how silly she can be? Why is the boy afraid of the red, red lips? Or the green pants? Do you know the magical spell to get rid of a monster that comes to town? How do you ger rid of a Belly Button monster? Listen and you’ll find out! Come and hear a tale or two that will put shivers up your spine and send you home with a smile!
