2010 - 2012 REPORT TO THE COMMUNITY MANNA thanks you...

Dear Friends,

MANNA must always provide quality service and care for the patients we serve, as well as be great stewards of the funds contributed each year for our work. Our donors should have confidence that MANNA operates both efficient- ly and honestly, providing the maximum amount of services possible with ex- penses under control.

This annual report for the period of July 2010 thru June 2012 indicates that 81 cents of every dollar received is applied to direct services. Less than 19 cents per dollar is spent on the cost of management and fundraising.

As MANNA works hard to secure sustainable revenue sources, invites more CEO Emeritus Richard Keaveney with Board Member Barbara Kaplan, individuals to become MANNA Friends, hosts more Meals That Matter, and Board Chair Barbara Ilsen and Executive Director Sue Daugherty sells more pies, we are fortunate to have ample savings to continue current levels of service until we succeed.

It has been a life-altering and extremely rewarding experience for me to serve as the CEO of MANNA for the past seven and a half years. Our staff, donors and supporters generously worked together to bring MANNA to a strong financial position. Passing “the torch” to new leadership is exciting. I look forward to doing my part in continuing to strengthen our vital mission.

MANNA will always need you! And we need your friends, family and co- workers, too. After all, we are neighbors nourishing neighbors.

Thank you for all that you do for MANNA,

Staff, volunteers and other friends of MANNA said farewell to CEO Richard Richard Keaveney, CEO Emeritus Keaveney at his tribute party in December 2012 MANNA nourishes...
