DHC and APPNA Team Up with Lawmakers to Protect Citizens

Doctors for Healthy Communities (DHC) and the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (APPNA) donated 15,000 KN95 masks for assisting the fight against COVID-19 to the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services, 21 House of Representatives and 6 Senators in the Kentucky general assembly. We wholeheartedly appreciate our leadership in Frankfort and throughout the state during this pandemic. What follows is the list of our public servants who received and distributed the KN95 masks with the map of their respective counties in Kentucky. This LTC facility is considered one of the top nursing care providers in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Senator Robin L. Webb (D) District:18 Grayson Boyd, Carter, Greenup

DHC and the Association of Physicians of Pakistani descent in Northern America (APPNA) donated 250 KN95 mask to The Jordan Center in Louisa, Kentucky on April 26th, 2020. DHC approached the facility in response to a Courier Journal article in which facility administrator David McKenzie mentioned spending hours on the phone and online searching for personal protective equipment.
