Mount Gayong • located in Perak • Stands at 2,173m • 4th highest mountain in • 1-2 hours’ trek from the peak of Mount Korbu. • Nice scenery along the route Profile of Korbu-Gayong

Total trekking distance by the end of 2nd day: approx 21km

• Day 1- Travelling

• Day 2- Trek to Camp Kijang. Camp for the night. Kijang Base

• Day 3- Continue ascent to Mount Korbu. From its peak, a 2 hour trek to the summit of Mount Gayong.

• Day 4- Trek to Mount Junction. Descend to H2O valley. Camp for the night.

• Day 6- Trek to Mount Charlie. Camp for the night.

• Day 7- Descent.

• Day 8- Home sweet home!

• Typical tropical climate, temperature 20-30 degrees Celsius

• High humidity Environment- Terrain

• Largely undulating as it is along mountain range

• Jungle terrain at lower altitudes, with rocky, steep trails near peaks. Environment- Wildlife
