ELIGIBLE BREEDS:
Open to any Afghan Hound, Basenji, Borzoi, Greyhound, Ibizan Hound, Irish Wolfhound, Italian Greyhound, Pharaoh Hound, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Saluki, Scottish Deerhound, Silken Windhound, Sloughi, Thai Ridgeback and Whippet. Non-regular racing will be offered for other breeds.
ALL HOUNDS MUST BE CERTIFIED PRIOR TO ENTERING THEIR FIRST CARA RACE MEET.
Hounds must be one year of age or older to be eligible to race.
All hounds must be individually registered with the AKC, CKC, UKC, NGA or any foreign registry, or possess a CKC PEN number.
All hounds must be registered with CARA. Every dog not already registered must submit payment of $2.00 and a photocopy of the papers with your entry. CARA registration is for the life of the dog.
1 INSPECTION AND ROLL CALL 10am Saturday, May 1st 10am Sunday, May 2nd
NOTE: Qualification will be offered on Friday April 31st from 4pm. Certification runs and open practice will be available following the race meet – please let the Secretary knows if you have dogs to be qualified Saturday and Sunday mornings.
PRE ENTRIES CLOSED: TUES, April 27th, 2021 8pm
PRE-ENTRY FEES $12.00 for 1st dog, $8.00 add’l dogs, same household, to a max of $30 per day.
POST-ENTRY FEE $15.00 per dog. Post entries close 1⁄2 hour before roll call.

2 GENERAL INFORMATION
All racers must wear muzzles. Blankets and muzzles will be available for sale or loan. (Contact Laurie Soutar for racing blankets thru her FB page at Sirius Suppply)
All races are 200 yards, and dogs will run three times unless scratched, dismissed or disqualified. All programs will be 4 dog races, dogs run within their own breed only.
All races will be box started – exceptions may be made for by Katie individual breeds as necessary will be hand slipped.
Track will be drag, with real fur lure and/or white plastic. Exhibitors are expected to help in re-string the lure following each run. Suitable footware is higly recommended.Thank you!!

REFUND POLICY
Lame dogs and females in season may not be entered. Entry fees will be refunded if is notified prior to Check In.
3 FOOD
Lalibertefarm is following the Best Practices for COVID-19; therefore there will be no goodies and coffee/tea served at this race meet.
Andy’s Drivein Snack is located at 1.7 km to this venue. ACCOMODATIONS
Campers are welcome – electricity is available in the evenings Howard Johnson, Tillsonburg (226) 641-6815, Pet Fee. Barn is accessible to charge electronics
