15 39th Annual Auction Raises $50,000 for KENW-TV Programming

The KENW-TV Auction raised almost $50,000 this year, all of which helps to insure that the wonderful variety of programming you enjoy on KENW-TV continues. We are very grateful for the generous support of all the do- nors, bidders, and buyers for participating in this year’s Auction. We’re particularly thrilled that so many of our viewers enjoyed and participated in the On-Air portion of our Auction, since it has been a few years since we last televised one from our studios. All of this year’s Auction donors, cash contributors, promotion donors, and sponsors are listed alphabetically by town. If you know them or do business with any of them, please tell them how much you appreciate their participa- tion in the KENW Auction. Your thanks and appreciation will encourage them to participate again next year. As we’ve done in the past, in Iieu of individual thank you letters, we have listed all of the participants in this is- sue of our Q2.3 program guide, and a complimentary issue is being mailed to each one. If you wish to continue re- ceiving the magazine on a monthly basis (free of charge), please let us know. If any donor wishes to know who bought their item(s), please call us on the toll-free line (1-888-367-5369), and we will gladly provide this information. Local donors can call us at 575-562-2112. Thank you for allowing us to express our gratitude to you in this way. We definitely want you to know how much we appreciate your support. We look forward to hearing from you, and thanks again for helping us with this year’s Auction.

His early travels took him to Spain and Algeria where the intense color and light inspired the virtuoso watercolorist to perfect his craft. Zorn loved the female form and was famous for his nude paintings as well as his vivid depictions of water. Zorn made numerous trips to the United States and among his most significant American portraits were those of presidents Grover Cleveland and William Howard Taft. While in America, he rivaled John Singer Sargent as the most sought-after portraitist of glittering high society. Sunday, June 15th at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 17th at 10:00 p.m.
