Towards a Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) Toolkit

EuroScience participates in RRI Tools, a European Commission funded project launched in January to foster a “new deal” between science and society.

With 12 other members of the RRI Tools Consortium, EuroScience took part to an intensive and stimulating 2-day workshop in CosmoCaixa, the Science Museum, on 22nd and 23rd April.

Organised by Athena Institute, ECsite and La Caixa Foundation, this Analysis Workshop of the RRI Tools project was dedicated to: - sharing views on a working definition of RRI - defining an approach for the mapping and consultation of the stakeholders (including researchers) - gathering the Advisory Board insight and guidance on both of these topics.

Thanks to collaborative efforts and prolific exchanges of views, this workshop set the basis for a rich and useful RRI Toolkit.

If you have any interest in RRI Tools, please contact: Jean-Pierre Alix at: [email protected] Alexia de Harambure at: [email protected]
